Here I present the visual identity I created this year for the Ibrida Festival of video art and experimental cinema. It has been a great honor for me to design the image of an event I deeply care about, marking my second collaboration with the festival after a few years.
Each edition, an invited artist is asked to interpret the theme chosen by the festival directors, Davide Mastrangelo and Francesca Leoni. For 2025, the theme is Multitude, and I was asked to translate it into an image.
My idea was to visualize a multitude of bodies, specifically arms and hands, almost forming a moving sculpture. In recent times my research has been strongly focused on the body, and I worked in this direction: a multitude of arms floating together, suggesting the presence of a single invisible body.
Following a suggestion by Davide Mastrangelo, I integrated a floral element into these “living sculptures,” enriching the image with new symbolic and visual possibilities.
I sincerely thank the festival once again for this collaboration.
On this page you will find a selection of both static and moving materials that document the project.
